    GENERAL CLASS POLICIES

    WHAT TO BRING TO A PISTOL PERMIT CLASS?

    1. Driver's license.
    2. NYS Pistol Permit.
    3. UT course curriculum package as downloaded from our Home Page.
    4. Fee in cash if not registered in advance - sorry no credit cards or cheques.
    5. A pen that writes in BLACK INK
    6. FL - Firearm with 20 rounds and magazines; eye & ear protection.
    7. UT - NO FIREARMS REQUIRED 
    8. Note: Firearms must be unloaded and cased with ammo stored separately.

    We provide:

    1. UT & FL application materials.
    2. UT Handouts if not brought to class.
    3. Fingerprinting services depending on class size and location.
    4. Photographic services depending on class size and location.
    5. Notarial services for Florida depending on class size and location.

    REGISTRATION POLICIES

    1. REFUNDS: Sorry, no refunds on fees. If you have paid and cannot attend, we'll get you into another course within 90 days of the one you missed. 

    2. STATE PERMIT FEES: You submit these with your application. We do not collect these fees at the class. UT fees are $51 for 5 years. FL fees are $117 for 7 years. 

    3. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: We are assuming that you have read all the details about each multi-state permit program. We will provide a release for your signature at the class. 

    4. PRE-REGISTRATION: You must pre-register for all courses. Sometimes course dates change. Don't be disappointed by just showing up without making sure the course is ON!

    5. NYS PISTOL PERMIT: A must for FL. Not needed for UT.

    6. CLASS TIME: The UT class takes about 4 hours. The FL class can run about 90 minutes. You must be there (and awake!) for the whole class(es). We do not intermix elements of these courses. 

    7. REGISTRATION OF FIREARMS: Not required for either UT or FL permits. If your travel companion has a UT or FL permit, they can share your firearm while traveling. 

    8. FULL CONCEALED CARRY: All UT and FL permits are full concealed carry. NYS permits can vary by issuing County.
